I am a professional wildlife biologist with a passion for landscape and nature photography. My photographic interests lie in winter, water, and rural scenes of the Midwest. I am especially interested in finding captivating images in otherwise ordinary settings close to my home in Southern Wisconsin.

I first developed my interest in landscapes as a child growing up in the country and accompanying my Mom and Dad on trips in rural Dane County, Wisconsin. My photography interests took off later in life when my wife and I bought a digital point-and-shoot and I began trying to digitally replicate my vision of rural landscapes. I have since upgraded my photography equipment but am still learning how to capture what I see with the camera.

I currently live in Stoughton, Wisconsin with my wife and three young children.
